Reconnect I Did

Having a hearty conversation with the Lord, 

Enjoying the daily tele call with God

Life was a smooth sail

Even in the roughest sea. 

Suddenly, the line got hazy

It seemed to have got cut

The Lord seemed out of touch

But He was always on the other side. 

Daily cares of life

Humdrum tasks in the mundane life

Kept the Lord away

Each day passed without a second thought. 

A day came out of the blue

When the void was felt

When life could never be handled alone

The need to reconnect was understood. 

Reconnect I did

Heard the Lord’s voice far away

Which after much time in His presence

Came near to comfort and care. 

Surely said, I will

Not wander again far

Will always be in tele call

In conversation with the heavenly Father. 

The Lord who is gracious and righteous

Full of tender compassion

Listens to my prayer everyday

And answers best according to His will.
