Being young and starting out in the world as in adult can be exciting. Moving from your parents’ home into a new place of your own can bring a sense of confidence and produce a feeling that you can conquer the world. It can also cause anxiety about being on your own.
Our walk with Christ is so much like this. When we chose to accept the Salvation of the Cross, we became a new person and we begin to experience life in a different way. As we grow in our relationship with Christ, we find ourselves in new places that sometimes challenge our confidence.
We are told that when we trust in the Lord, we will find new strength and we will not grow weary. You see, when we travel into the new places of our journey with Jesus, we will find many new experiences that may cause us to tire. But oh, how precious is our Jesus that He is right there to lead us through it all, and even carry us when our legs cannot take another step. This new place is where we grow and bloom. It is how we produce fruit to share with others so that they may also find strength as they step into their new place.
We can always trust that God is in the move. Whether it is big or small, He will always be there when we find our self in a new place.
