INFINITE ONE

Isaiah 40:28-31, ‘God doesn’t come and go. God lasts. He’s Creator of all you can see or imagine. He doesn’t get tired out, doesn’t pause to catch His breath. And He knows everything, inside and out. He energizes those who get tired, gives fresh strength to dropouts. For even young people tire and drop out, young folk in their prime stumble and fall. But those who wait upon God get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles; they run and don’t get tired; they walk and don’t lag behind.’ (MSG)
Time is one of the most valuable commodities we have at our disposal yet also one of the most essential assets we do not possess. Time belongs solely to the God of the Universe. However, God exists outside of time. Time is everything to us; it is nothing to the Creator. A day is but a thousand years to Him. Even a second to us lasts too long sometimes.
Because of this, we cannot fathom the infinity of a Holy God. His continuum outlasts everything we can think or imagine. Not only is He everlasting, but His goodness is infinite; His grace is infinite; His love is infinite; His understanding is infinite; even His tolerance is infinite. What we know of this life, this existence, is so temporal, and there are no absolutes…except the absolute infinity of God and His everlasting love for the mankind He dreamt into being. There will never be a space, a millisecond, a heartbeat, a dream, that is void of this Infinite One if you invite Him in.
