Be happy about it! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in Heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted in the same way. Matthew 5:12 (New Living Translation)

This is the perfect verse to encourage you when you are weary. I mean what could be better than knowing those before you have faced troubles and grown weary? Just as they found their rewards in Heaven, you will too! How wonderful is that? This lets me know that something far more grand than you can ever imagine awaits you. The prophets and saints before you faced some ugly stuff, yet they were quick to rejoice. There is nothing found on this earth that will compare to the presence of God in Heaven. To see Jesus and walk among those prophets such as Elisha, Moses, Elijah, Ezekiel and so many others is more than being able to stroll the walkways of the biggest mall.

Let us sing “Oh Happy Day,” as we know there is not struggle that God cannot handle and no treasure more valuable than Heaven.
