30 Days of Gratitude

So I’m thanking you with all my heart, with gratitude for all you’ve done. I will do everything I’ve promised you, Lord. Psalm 56:11-12 (TPT).’

Day 8 * Just Grateful: Warmly or deeply appreciative of kindnesses or benefits received; indebted and beholden

I will praise you in the hard place, Lord.

I feel I am being homeschooled by you, God. I think you put all your children in class this year, opened your Word before us and laid the tests on the altar of our lives. You had lessons that you wanted us to learn that we couldn’t learn any other way than taking us back to the study hall. You waived the tuition costs when you closed the dorms and the classrooms, but the other lessons have been costly. You wiped the chalkboards of our lives clean, not even a smudge from an eraser remained. You gave your students an unblemished chance to each begin at the same place, follow the instructions, move at our own pace and reap the reward or suffer the result; no curve necessary because you imprinted your Word upon the tablets of our hearts. And this I have learned in this season: ‘I will hide your Word in my heart that I might not sin against you (Psalm 119:11, NIV).’
