But he answered, ” it is written, ‘man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4 (ESV)

Even in the middle of His temptation, Jesus was still confirming to the enemy that God will always be the provider to those who love and seek Him. By saying “it is written” Jesus was making sure that the enemy knew it was the way it was going to be and there would be no changing it. It is a part of the promises of God and there is nothing that will remove the promise that we will have all the manna we need as long as we are walking in rightness with God.

God’s word is life, and it is the bread by which we gain our nutrition. His words fill our hungry souls and quench our thirsty lips. There is no other way to know this manna unless we know the words of God.

LadyBug do not worry where your bread shall come from, it is from the Word of God that you will be nourished and strengthened. He promises to be all that you need in life!! Glory!

Let us seek to be fed by His Word when we hunger for truth.

Much Love,
