Easter

I love Easter. It makes me want to lift my hands up high and give thanks to my God. Giving Him thanks for sending Jesus to redeem me from my sins and gave me eternal life. If God never did another thing for me, that’s more than enough to keep me happy and blessed. To know that I’m spending eternity with Him.

Yes, life here can be tough with its challenges and issues. But because of Easter, we don’t have to do life alone. He is with us always. Do you know that our religion is the only one that we cannot show you the tomb of our leader–because it’s EMPTY? Glory to God! Our God has risen.

I think the perfect day for Jesus to return would be on Resurrection Sunday. That would be a full circle of the completion of His redemption work. The day He rose to go to heaven and the same day, 2,000 years later, returned. What a thought!

But in the meantime…

Occupy and run your race till He returns. (Luke 19:13)

I know, my friend, the world is a hard place to live in now, with inflation and higher prices. But you need to remember that through the cross you have been given authority over this world and the god of this world- the devil.

You don’t have to roll over and play dead, no you can stand up and pull your shoulders back because you are not powerless. He has given you the name above all names. JESUS. Every knee must bow to that name.

You may forget this from time to time, but our enemy never does. He will bombard you from every angle as long as you let him. But once you stand up and say the name of Jesus, he has to stop his work and back down.

Keep the faith strong as you stay close to the Father in prayer and in His Word. Let your spirit rise with confidence and say the name of Jesus with all the authority it has. Your world will change. You will gain control again. Your circumstance has to bow to that name. Victory is surely yours.

Yes, this Easter you have heaps to rejoice over. You are an overcomer, a victorious one, a winner, and a conqueror.

Now is a good time to have a praise break!
