Spiritual Catharsis

The Word of God urges us to put on holiness, this form of holiness is possible wholly through the Blood of Jesus over our lives, which cleanses us from the harsh stains of sin. 

The process is intense and deep – PURGING – getting rid from our flesh, soul and emotions. PURIFICATION – moving to an elated level of purity through the soaking well in the Blood of Jesus and coming forth free of stains in His Righteousness and Holiness. SANCTIFICATION – a challenging journey of striving and preserving the PURGING and PRESERVING process through the course of one’s life walked by Spirit. 

The Deep Conviction, Eagerness, Hunger and Thirst to change leads to Spiritual Catharsis.

For a wholesome Spiritual Catharsis, it needs our willingness to release ourselves from repressed emotions stuffed deep within us, often suppressed and ignored in various situations. 

Well, the pre-requisite need is to tune ourselves to the very nature of God – His acceptable virtues – bearing the Fruit of the Spirit which tackles and addresses all the bondages hidden or carpeted  in our souls.  

Is PURGING, PURIFICATION and SANCTIFICATION sustainable? 

YES!

Romans 12: 1-2, I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

A transformed living from the inside out – from the innermost being of our souls is crucial and most needed to be surrendered. The surrender of our intentions, desires, emotions to God’s ways and acceptance makes all the difference to experience renewed understanding and walking by the Holy Spirit.
