30 Days with THE WORD
January 24, 2021

John 1:1-2, ‘In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God. He (the Word) was in the beginning with God (NKJV).’

There is not one moment in your life that is wasted if You know Jesus.

I feel like I wasted a lot of time. I bemoaned every mess-up, every time I returned to feast from the same trough of defeat, to drink from the same empty well. How many times did I promise I would never again, no never, walk down that same path, remake that identical mistake, rewrite a duplicate chapter. How patient He has been with me!

And what I am watching transpire is Him using for my good and His glory what I once thought was wasted. It’s the girl caught in a similar tangled web that she can overcome if she is encouraged to make different choices than me. It’s connecting others with helpful tools instead of them seeking out the vices that numbed me. It’s the woman who needs a shoulder or the mother who needs a break or the person that longs for someone to come alongside of them who has walked their path before. He isn’t wasting one precious calamity or poor choice of yours either if you will just surrender it to Him to use.
Joel 2:25, ‘”So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust; My great army which I sent among you (NKJV).”’
