Celebrate Yourself!

CELEBRATE YOURSELF, YOU ARE A LIMITED EDITION

There are millions of people worldwide, and their lifestyles are mostly unique. A lot of people dress differently, some dress lightly and some usually dress the other way round; but whatever light you see within yourself is only telling you how different and unique YOU ARE.

Take this into your life, you’re fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14 NLT). God created you for a purpose; special dreams and visions are inside of you. Do you think you’re not created for a purpose? Seek, ask, knock and you will find (Matthew 7:7).

When you see others doing well, don’t envy them, but see it as a catalyst for your own success in your own field. Never forget, our journey is not the same, and so are our challenges and opportunities, are unique and relative to us as individuals.

When you can, get inspired by others, but be an extraordinaire in your own contest. Do extraordinary things that you were uniquely created to do and take pride in those achievements and yourself. You should celebrate whatever your achievement has been in this little while, look inwards, introspect, and recognize that greatness that resides in you.

Let me tell you a short story. It was the weekend and this man was having his morning rounds, he was jogging down the street when all of a sudden he saw another man in front by about a quarter of a mile and it seemed that this man was running slowly.

He decided to catch up with the man. Eventually he did, and he had a look of satisfaction on his face. But upon running a few more blocks it dawned on him he had missed a vital turn while setting gaze on the guy ahead of him. Sadly, he had to turn around and retrace his steps. This, more often than not, is what happens when we compete with others unnecessarily, neglecting our own life journey in the process. Don’t let the impressive work of the other person consume you. Instead, discover your own unique journey and get started confidently; with perseverance, focus, faith and consistency you will shine brighter than diamond.
