I AM Bold

2 Timothy 1:7

For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”

To me, being bold means being strong, taking control of your situation, and to not be scared. It’s also what the scripture says. Being bold is having power, love and a self-control. In our youth, we face a lot of different challenges and situations that are difficult. And in that instant, we have to be bold.

I remember, when I was first diagnosed with my eye disease, Keratoconus. It was very hard for me to be a normal kid. I had so many different challenges. I struggled with making friends, going outside, and being able to fit-in. People would always see me as the “person who couldn’t see.” So I had to learn how to be bold at a early age.

It took me not being fearful and having power and love and self-control be to able to get through it.

I want to ask you a question. Has there ever been in a situation in your young life that has caused you to be bold and to have self-control? If so what did you do to be bold? Write it down and use the same routine you used before to help you through the next situation.

Bad things will still come and life will happen, but if you revert to what you did before, it will work. If you haven’t been through a situation, what would you do to get through it?

Be bold!
