Owning your own site can be costly and time-consuming, but if you are committed to making money through sales, it might be a good investment.

Freelancers have also seen success in making money via the Internet. Freelance writers can write for a variety of content providers, magazines and other outlets. There are a variety of sites where freelance writers can sign-up to write a variety of titles that have been requested by customers.

Freelance artists can also make money on the web. Advertise your  services to a targeted audience to try to gain customers. Or consider creating a web site that can serve as a digital portfolio that highlights your work. You can even use Facebook as your digital portfolio.

Another way to make money include being a virtual assistant. This job requires you to do the job of a secretary or assistant, but doesn’t require her to leave the comforts of her own home.

There are a variety of ways to earn income online during this scary and uncertain time. Just like with any other type of traditional  job, working from home requires a time commitment and professionalism.
