Day 7 – Fit for Life Challenge

☀️Good Monday Morning.. it’s Day 7. I had something different planned to post this morning, but I woke up with a particular verse on my heart. Heavy on my heart. I don’t intend to dwell on all the horrible things going on in our country, and in fact our world, right now in my daily posts. But today I feel lead to share this verse and talk about it a minute.
2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land.”

I am quite sure that every single one of us have been praying for our country..for peace and healing. Please continue to do that! But let’s look closer at the verse. It is talking to us.. God’s people. It gives us four specific things that WE need to do. First, God tells us to humble ourselves. It’s so easy to point our fingers and say “they” need to do this or do that. God is talking to US! We are called to humble ourselves and look into our own hearts. Where do we need to change to be more Christ-like and have more love and forgiveness in our heart?
Next, God tells us to pray. Pray! Yes.. talk to God and ask Him to show us our own sin in our heart, besides asking for healing for our country or world. Ask Him to search our own hearts. Trust me, the Spirit shows me the things in my own heart that I need to get right, pretty much daily.

He then tells us to seek Him. Do you really seek God? Seek to know Him like a treasure! We have His word! We can go boldly to His throne! Oh how we need to seek Him!
This last one is a tough one. He said for US to turn from our wicked ways. Again, it’s so easy to look at the world and say “They need to get it together!” But what about me. What about you. We are called to turn from our own wicked ways. Ask God to show you how you can be more like Him and see others the way He does. We are called to love. Period. Love never ever ever fails!
God tells us He will forgive our sins and heal our land. Jesus paid it all on the cross for our sins. So we are free to live a life that’s different from the world. Today let US (me and you), humble ourselves, seek Him, pray and turn from any way that we going, that is not of God. It has to start with us.

Today I want to share my HIIT workout that I do on a regular basis at home. It requires no equipment. HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training, and I feel it’s one of the best ways to workout. It’s a short burst of a cardio exercise, alternating with a lower intensity strength exercise. You can go through the list one time, twice, or however many times you can. It’s a great way to burn a lot of calories in a short period of time! Here it is!👇🏼👇🏼
