Today’s Hope September 15

But Ruth replied, “Don’t ask me to leave you and turn back. Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you live, I will live. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God. Ruth 1:16
(New Living Translation)

LadyBug,
Jesus wants us to be a Ruth in a world of chaos. He wants us to know that when we seek to follow Him regardless of what others may tell us to do, He will lead us to provision. He is our calm in this chaotic world of uncertainty.
After losing everything, Ruth could have returned home and been taken care of, but she chose to follow Naomi into a land that was not hers. She chose to seek a God that she did not know. This is the heart that Jesus longs for us to have. He wants to know that no matter where He may lead, we will follow. He longs to lead us to the threshing floor and hear the promise of our groom.
Let us follow Him and be His people that will give hope to the hopeless.
